لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله
…sometimes really boil us to our core. we have some really amazing followers and highly inspirational people who continually show us much support, but then there are some questions i really dont understand how they are even presumed as questions.
diana and i are constantly talking about our progress towards bettering our thebeautyofislam blog, but sometimes we are stumped by some of the feedback we recieve (i guess thats part of life though, but seriously now).
not sure how many of you keep up with our posts on your dash, but we just recieved a question that really has diana and i ask ourselves: what dont some people understand in terms of our blogging? sometimes, we have to ask one another to answer some of the questions because the other cant answer without being overly frustrated. diana usually handles the compliments, feedback, and questions regarding jurisprudential matters (which i find so hard to answer honestly) and ill answer the questions (like the most recent one) that people are in most need of in terms of the in-depth explanations or emphasis of a spiritual side to the matter. and amani, of course, would reblog really inspirational pictures from various amounts of sources.
we’re always finding means to better not only the blog, but our intentions to continually blog whats right onto thebeautyofislam. diana and amani (and our newest member and my personal soon to be closest buddy editor and brother, amjad) are my source of inspiration and i love them so much because they always teach me what being a true civilized and humane muslim is all about. theyve been my constant support through thick and thin and without them i would be nothing close to who i am now. were always a team and always working together to figure out how we need to make things work; ill make them proud one day for instilling this virtue in my life.
point is, we have too many muslims cling onto their biases and prejudices and little who are willing to expand the intellect allah has blessed them with. its a struggle, it most definitely is, but im sure if we continue to implement the quran into our lives and renew our intentions every once in a while, well make it through this.
